Kimberly Taylor, LMFT
Clinical Director

Kimberly Taylor completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology from CBU in 2004 and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.  She has been a therapist, consultant and Clinical Director in the substance abuse industry for the last 6 years along with her private practice in Orange County, where she resides. 


She has a passion for working with teams and creating programs that are innovative and evidence based for those that experience serious mental health and substance abuse issues.  She joined the team at 12 South as Clinical Director in February 2019. 

Kim has worked in the field of counseling for over 15 years, with experience in both the private and public sector.  After she graduated with her Bachelors in Behavioral Sciences, she began working in group homes with children who had experienced severe trauma and abuse.  She has had many roles over her career including starting a non-profit to address the issues of child abuse and domestic violence.  In 2013, she wrote a book on domestic violence which gives the topic a balanced view in domestic violence and gender.  She has been featured on KTLA Channel 5 and Sac and Co TV for her expertise in the topic of domestic violence.   She has won several awards including the 2015 Child Advocate of the Year presented by Prevent Child Abuse Riverside County.  She was the recipient of the Woman of Distinction in the area of Economic and Social Development by Soroptimist International of Corona in 2005.
