Gina Ninci, MA, AMFT

Primary Therapist

Gina Ninci is a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate who received her Masters Degree in
Counseling Psychology from National University in Carlsbad, CA in 2013. Gina’s experience
includes providing therapeutic and case management services to children, families and adults
who suffer from trauma, addiction, co-occuring disorders, and other mental health challenges.
Gina believes in the uniqueness of each person’s story, and that each client has their own
personal journey to recovery. Gina offers a client centered approach to treatment that
incorporates evidence based practices including Cognitive Based Therapy, (CBT) CBT Trauma

techniques, Solutions Focused, Narrative, and Art Therapies. She received her Bachelor’s
Degree in Communications in 1998, and believes in the power of positive intra-personal and
inter-personal communication. Gina uses psychoeducation and CBT to engage clients in
assertive communication practice, and assist them with thought and feeling identification. Her
experience also includes teaching in Los Angeles Unified School District and corporate training.
She particularly enjoys engaging in Art Therapy with clients at 12 South Recovery.
